Upon arrival, I encountered a negative vibe due to disturbing guests smoking in the stairwell. The noise from above kept me awake both nights, leading to a restless stay. Staff were well-meaning but room service timing felt intrusive.

Tbh, had a very good stay for one night. The hotel was spotlessly clean and we had a warm room. Even the Glasgow airport was not so far, 21 minutes drive away. Enjoyed our rooms with 4 bunk beds all single. The staff was competent and patient.

Nice staff, but cramped space

The staff were super friendly, and the walk to the city wasn't too bad. I stayed in a 14-bed dorm, and wow, it was tight! Like, you could barely move without bumping into someone. The bathroom door was a bit wonky, too, wouldn't lock. Breakfast was okay, but not worth the hassle again.
